Abstract :

In this paper, we have investigated the study of pulsatile blood flow through a inclined channel bounded by porous beds under the influence of an externally applied magnetic field. The effect of non-Newtonian nature of blood in blood vessels has been taken into account as a couple stress fluid. A Perturbation technique is employed to solve the governing differential equations. The velocity field and volumetric flow rate are calculated analytically and presented graphically for different values of the physical parameters.

Keywords :

Couple stress fluid, magnetic field, porous media and stenosis.
